What happens if my cookies arrive melted or soft during the summer?
During the summer, some cookies — especially our stuffed or heavily topped ones — may soften or melt in transit. Don’t panic! Just place them in the fridge for a bit once they arrive, and they’ll firm right back up without losing any of that deliciousness.
Please note: we do not offer refunds or replacements for melted or “deflated” cookies. These treats are delicate, and warm-weather shipping always comes with a little risk.
To help prevent issues, keep a close eye on your tracking info and grab your cookies as soon as they’re delivered. Sitting outside too long in the heat can do more damage than the ride itself
Does Sugar Bliss offer Canada-wide cookie shipping?
Yes, we offer Canada-wide shipping for cookies only. Cakes and other treats are available for local pickup at our Hamilton Office.
What is ordering schedule for cookies?

(Minimum order of 6 cookies required)
Order Cut-Off Time:
- Orders placed between Saturday to Friday by 11:59 PM EST→ Will ship the following Monday.
Orders placed after the Friday cut-off will ship the Monday after next.

We do not offer pickups for cookies at this time. All cookie orders are shipped directly to your door across Canada.

Every cookie is made to order. Our lead times allow us to plan, prep, and bake every order with the love and attention it deserves.

How are cookies packaged and handled for shipping?
Each cookie is individually wrapped, heat sealed, then carefully packaged to ensure it arrives fresh and in perfect condition. We take every precaution to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
How can I make sure my order arrives in the best condition?
Here are a few tips to ensure your cookies arrive fresh and delicious:

✔️Keep an eye on your tracking number and retrieve your package as soon as it arrives.
✔️ Consider shipping to a location where someone will be available to receive the package.
✔️Choose express shipping for the fastest delivery.
Can I request a reshipment if my package is delayed or returned to you?
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to pick it up, we can reship it at the customer’s expense. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee product freshness after extended shipping times.
Do you offer refunds for lost or delayed packages?
No, we do not offer refunds for lost, delayed, or unclaimed packages. Please consider this before placing an order. Once an order is shipped, it is the customer’s responsibility to track and retrieve their package.
If your package is lost by the carrier, we recommend reaching out to Canada Post or Purolator directly for a resolution.
What if my cookies spoil due to a delay?
We are not responsible for spoilage caused by shipping delays beyond our control. However, we use high-quality packaging to preserve freshness for as long as possible.
What if my cookies arrive damaged?
We take great care to package our cookies securely, but minor breakage may occur during transit. If your order arrives severely damaged, please contact us within 24 hours with photos of the packaging and cookies. We will review the situation and determine the best way to assist you.
What if I forget to pick up my package from the post office?
If your package is held at the post office and not picked up in time, we are not liable for spoilage or damage. We do not offer refunds or replacements for unclaimed packages.
To prevent this, please check your tracking updates regularly and retrieve your package as soon as possible.
What happens if my cookie package is delayed in shipping?
We ship all cookies the fasted method possible to ensure they arrive as fresh. However, once your order has been shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays. Shipping times are estimated, and while most packages arrive within 1-2 business days, however Western and Northern Canada maybe see longer shipping times due to distance and carrier timelines. Additionally, unforeseen delays can happen.
Is there an allergy disclaimer for cookies and other desserts?
ur facility is not nut-free, and cakes, cookies, and other desserts may come into contact with dairy, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. By ordering, you acknowledge this risk.
Are refunds available for shipped cookies?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds for shipped orders. If there is an issue with the quality upon arrival, please contact us directly and we’ll work to resolve it.
What is the shelf life on cookies?
Once you receive your cookies, they can remain fresh in their heat-sealed packaging for up to one (1) week at room temperature. However, our cookies actually last up to three (2) weeks in their sealed packaging. We list one week to account for shipping time and ensure the best quality upon arrival. For the best taste and texture, we recommend enjoying them within three (3) days of receiving them.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat, which can cause decorations to fade or soften.
For extended storage, cookies can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Keep them individually sealed in plastic wrap, and place them in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag. When ready to enjoy, let them thaw at room temperature.

What is Sugar Bliss Bakery’s cancellation and refund policy?
All orders are final and non-refundable.
Due to the made-to-order nature of our products and the limited weekly stock, we are unable to offer refunds or cancellations once an order is placed. Each batch is carefully planned and prepared to ensure quality, and last-minute changes or cancellations impact both our workflow and ingredient sourcing.

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
Changes to custom orders are accepted up to one month prior to the delivery date, subject to availability. Alterations cannot be accommodated within 14 days of pickup or dispatch.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. For added flexibility, we also offer Afterpay, allowing you to split your payment into four interest-free installments.

Yes, product prices and service fees are subject to change without notice.

Yes, we offer hand-delivery within Hamilton and surrounding areas. Delivery fees start at $30. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order, as we cannot leave items unattended.
How should I transport and store my cake or desserts after pickup?
For safe transport, place the cake on a flat surface (e.g., car floor) and keep it cool. Once picked up or delivered, customers assume responsibility for the item’s care.
What are the pickup guidelines?
All pickups are from our licensed home-based bakery in Hamilton, Ontario. You will receive the exact address after confirming your order. Please arrive within your designated time slot, and if you need to reschedule, let us know in advance.

Hand-Delivery guidelines?
We’re pleased to offer hand delivery for cakes, cookies, and other treats within Hamilton and surrounding areas. Here’s what you need to know to ensure a smooth delivery experience:
Delivery Hours
- Monday - Friday: Deliveries are available between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
- Saturday: Deliveries are available between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
- Sunday: Closed. No deliveries available.
Delivery Requirements
- Recipient Availability: Please ensure someone is present at the delivery location during the scheduled time window. We cannot leave items unattended due to the perishable nature of our products.
- Storage and Handling: Once delivered, we recommend placing cakes on a flat surface and keeping all items in a cool place or refrigerated as advised to maintain freshness.
Delivery Fees
- Delivery fees start at $30, with additional charges based on distance from our Hamilton location.
